Some examples of the courses we offer to our own staff and also to external organisations are shown below and in our new training booklet. We will also provide a number of e-learning resources soon. 

Initial Training Courses These are short courses which are aimed mainly at new employees, including: First aid Infection control Moving and handling Fire awareness Health and safety Data Protection Venue: Woolston or Knutsford		Specialist Courses External organisations can book onto all our courses, including specialist courses such as: Emergency first aid at work (HSE approved) First aid at work (HSE approved) Casualty simulations Food Hygiene Certificate in Catering (CIEH 1/2) Moving and handling more... Funded Courses Cheshire LRN have provided funding for several courses, including: Autistic syndrome disorder awareness Non-violent crisis intervention Dementia awareness Dementia care Food handling Safe handling of medicines PTLLS These courses are available to eligible staff.		Professional Development Courses We have partnered with a number of educational establishments to provide further training: West Cheshire College and Macclesfield College provide NVQ 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and the theory component of our Health and Social Care Apprenticeships. They also provide the A1 Assessors Award. Blackburn College provides the NVQ 4 Leadership and Management for Care Services course. Mid-Cheshire College provides the PTLLS course. These courses are available to eligible staff.
